A 1953 model 80”, build No. 6 is a little different to our previous restorations as this car has been restored as a “patina rebuild”. That is to say all parts have been given the same level refurbishment as our full ground up painted restorations, however we have worked extremely hard to preserve the vehicle in is current state in terms of original paint and worn finish. Patina cars with straight, original panels are hard to come by, especially in their factory applied paint. This particular 1953 model was assembled by Regent Motors in Melbourne, Australia and was dispatched out of the factory as a CKD kit.
